1. Although Jewish people have obviously moved on from women as property, the actual marriage part of a Jewish wedding is still the couple signing a contract. Everything else is just a party.

2. I have always read Matthew 5:28 not as "thinking women are sexy" but rather that Jesus was saying not to leer, stare at women, catcall, etc. My theory is he was telling guys not to harass women in the street ;).
