Trans children who are not allowed to transition (and I note that NOBODY is doing gender confirmation surgery on minors) are at a higher risk of serious mental health problems, a higher risk of suicide. Denying them puberty blockers is, plain and simple, cruelty and abuse. It is certainly not "fully supporting their right to live as they please." Rowling does not believe this is true. 2. NOBODY is trying to erode the legal definition of sex and replace it with gender so women don't get medical treatment. J.K. Rowling has literally said that.

3. She implied that autistic girls are somehow victims of trans activism and suddenly wanting to transition in huge numbers.

4. She believes in Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria, which no real scientist thinks is a thing.

5. She has outright stated that trans men transition to "escape womanhood." That it's all about wanting to escape sexism.

6. She has stated that she wants trans women to be safe, but not in public restrooms. She is perpetuating the COMPLETE LIE that men will claim to be women to go into restrooms and rape women if trans women aren't forced back into the mens room (where they are likely to be attacked).

She is part of the MASSIVE transphobia-disguised-as-feminism movement currently sweeping the UK. And all of this comes from ONE essay she wrote. One.
