Agreed, I just don’t trust those people. And I’m more concerned about mills than “backyard breeders,” which is a weird term that seldom has a solid meaning.

But they want to STOP pet breeding with the ultimate goal of no more cats/dogs/etc. And they get their claws into laws designed to regulate breeding…and sneak stuff in that makes it, for example, nearly impossible to breed working dogs because you can’t keep them intact long enough to properly trial them. So it’s a tough balance.
