(Sure, ban signs, but if you do, you need to ban ALL of them…and that also goes for people allowing BLM signs but not others).
Additionally, you do realize that racial covenants, although no longer enforceable, have not been removed from a LOT of CC&Rs. A lot.
Racism is not a thing of the past. Your experience with one HOA does not negate the experience of others.
Nothing would get me to buy a home with a HOA. They might decide I too am “undesirable.”
And “keeping up property values” is a long time dog whistle, so you might want to be a tad careful how you use it.
