I was also in a chat many years ago where the admin (this was back in the IRC days) couldn't work out how to remove the word "bitch" from the filter. There were several dog breeders in the chat. She was eternally having to unban people because the filter *banned anyone who used that word permanently*. She had to unban herself more than once. She had to change servers to one which allowed her to at least edit the word list.
