Also, to be honest, a lot of cis people would benefit from picking up their gender and taking a good look at it from a few different angles.

We do not all experience gender in the same way, let alone express it in the same way. I am a cis woman, but I am not the same kind of woman as one who voluntarily puts on a full face of makeup every day to express her gender.

I think a huge part of why cis people are afraid of trans people is that they haven't done this process. They haven't considered what their gender is. They just kind of sit there in gender ambiguity and assume it has to be what their genitalia say.

Exploring your own gender makes it much easier to understand other people's.
