At least there's enough awareness now that the problem is being worked on.

I think a convertible seat like that is the obvious answer as there won't be a wheelchair user on every flight. Coming up with a space every wheelchair can fit in is going to be hard, though.

Also I don't 100% trust airlines to properly block the seat NEXT to it for a companion and some wheelchair users can't travel alone.
