Education is the answer. The people who vote for these people have been brainwashed into being afraid of trans people.

There are many cis women, who call themselves feminists, who have been brainwashed into thinking that trans people are a threat to them. Trans women are all men who want to rape them in bathrooms. Trans men are victims of the patriarchy (they love to talk about the social contagion, the extinction of the tomboy). And trans people of all genders threaten the extinction of lesbians.

They fail to see that the same force is behind both of these.

Allies need to keep speaking up. This is the last gasp of dying conservatism, but it could easily take our country with it if we are not careful.

And in some states, Pride this year will be what it truly is: A rebellion.
