EVs are great, but there are still places where they are not feasible due to insufficient charging infrastructure.

In much of the U.S. there are simply not enough chargers and a hybrid is a better option.

Also be aware that EVs lose *substantial* range in hot weather...as much as 17%...in a dangerous heatwave you need to be very careful to avoid running out of charge in the heat, which can be legitimately *dangerous*.

I love EVs, but the intermediate option is good too if you can't rely on charging infrastructure.
