Good explanation. I think there's kind of a spectrum. I'm a tomboy, which is one step more towards being a traditional woman than you are. I've had people say I should be a demigirl.

I'm not. It's not *quite* the same thing. It's about expressing womanhood in a more masculine way, but not butch...that's different too.

It's hard to get all these gradations across (and also, I know a trans woman who is also a tomboy, can we get the gender police to acknowledge that trans tomboys and demigirls exist?)
