However, puberty blockers themselves are reversible, all it means is you go through puberty a bit later. They're commonly used to treat precocious puberty.

So many gender docs will put the kid on puberty blockers while they go through counseling and social transition to give them extra time to make this choice. If they don't go on the cross sex hormones, there's no long term impact on fertility that we have found.
