I actually saw (and carefully walked away from) a post that had apparently gotten iBuying conflated with a much more real issue, that is corporations buying homes to rent them.

They seemed to think the homes bought by Zillow weren't going back on the market, except they are. It's just a way for people who need to sell quickly because of work relocation to do so, and honestly I think it's a handy service for a small number of people who just HAVE to move NOW.
