And it was a nightmare. My handwriting is bad enough with my dominant hand. With my off hand it was completely illegible.

I was under strict instructions to completely rest my right hand.

I got screamed at by my teacher for not writing neatly enough. Then my mother screamed at the teacher for screaming at me. I still have a bump in my wrist from...well, not completely resting my right hand so I wouldn't be screamed at!

Yeah, I'm still mad about it 40 odd years later.
