I am already hearing stories about people choosing not to have any more children because they are afraid that doctors will be legally forced to allow them to die if there's a complication.

There are legit people who think a nonviable fetus is more important than a living woman.

I actually talked to one of the true religious fanatics and his stance boiled down to:

"A woman who dies to not save a non-viable fetus goes to heaven. A woman who aborts said non-viable fetus goes to hell. She should face death with dignity and be proud to be given the chance to be a martyr."

For the most part, though, they aren't religious fanatics. They think this is a way to get more white babies.
