I am doing the only part I can: I will not under any circumstance rent through AirBnB or any similar organization.

This has made some of my trips hard because one of the other issues is that in some places all of the vacation rentals are AirBnB or Vrbo. All of them. Makes it very hard to avoid them.

But I do it anyway because I refuse to give money to a parasite that benefits from a particularly nasty form of gentrification.
