I am opposed to sugar taxes because they penalize people who can't have artificial sweeteners.

I can no longer have soda when I visit the U.K. unless it's Fentemann's, because the sugar tax has led them to put aspartame in regular soda.

Aspartame gives me incapacitating migraines.

Sin taxes have historically never worked well.
