I can't work in an office because the effort of spending 40 hours masking (I have eventually lost every job because I failed to mask under stress and acted "unprofessionally") on top of doing my job leaves me unable to do anything else...no hobbies, no hanging out with friends, I can watch TV, play easy video games and sleep while my husband does all household chores.

I tell people it's being expected to spend 40 hours acting a character assigned to you by somebody else, without ever breaking it, while still doing a job.

I don't even need "accommodations." I need people to leave me alone and not expect me to Act Perfectly Normal At All Times.
