I don't consider that true feminism. Freeing men to be feminine IS feminism, as far as I'm concerned.

Men should be able to wear their hair long, wear skirts or dresses, etc. I know a house husband, he stayed home because his wife made more money. I.e., they did what made sense. Nothing feminine about him.

Homophobia is part of it too, of course.

But no, my kind of feminism wants boys in makeup...and there are some amazing makeup artists doing masculinizing makeup both for cis boys who want to look hotter and for trans boys. Contouring can work in all kinds of ways, just saying.

Which is my long winded way of saying that I agree with you, but don't blame feminism for the double standards. Blame toxic masculinity and homophobia.
