I have been a target of gender envy...I have a trans friend who asked me for advice on being a woman, to which my response was "Why are you asking the tomboy?"

Her response was along the lines of "You are exactly the woman I want to be."

It was weird to be a target of that but I wonder how many other trans women have looked at me and felt that but not been close enough to admit to it.
