But you are asking me to tolerate somebody else’s freedom to take the freedom away from others.

I will not.

You have the freedom to believe what you want, but the second you make a law based off of your beliefs that takes freedom away from others, you are wrong.

(And yes, I do believe that nobody should be forced to, say, officiate a same sex wedding…or the wedding of a divorcee, or any other wedding they disagree with. But I do not believe that somebody who is opposed to same sex weddings has the right to say they shouldn’t happen. That’s the difference).

Unfortunately, modern conservatism in America is all about taking freedom away from others. Well, and not paying taxes.

I’m not demonizing people.

I am demonizing policies.

And I am, yes, quite angry about women being prosecuted for having miscarriages, parents having to leave their state so they can provide proper medical care for their children, etc. I believe those things *warrant* anger if you DO believe in freedom.
