I have one of those pretty Ren Faire bodice corsets and I have run, danced, and fought with a sword in it.

Not everyone tight laced to the point of "high fashion."

The only thing I can't do wearing it is bend down...which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it makes you lift with your entire body, not your back.

And you can get a male corset too. Guys, a corsetiere will fit you right up if you want something that will make your waist look trim and, by the way it's cut, your shoulders look bigger.

Correctly fitted corsetry is fun.
