I have unfond memories of being required to wear pink for a baby shower because "It's a girl."

One: I hate pink.

Two: Grargh.

Also there was Christian prayer, and the only person more uncomfortable than me was the pregnant person, who had apparently been talked into letting her cousins do it instead of her friends.

She was annoyed by the entire thing...she didn't want the Christian prayer, she didn't want the enforced pink-wearing...

I wonder how many people get pushed into doing gender reveal by their family.
