I honor the bravery of those who choose to stay.

I respect the circumstances of those who can't stay.

I support the choice of those who choose to leave.

Often people are choosing to leave because their kids are being denied medical care, which...I don't see what choice they have.

I mean, if you have a trans kid in Florida, then they've basically defined *letting them use different pronouns* as abuse. They aren't actually coming after them with child services yet, but they're absolutely setting the ground rules and if your ex is transphobic, they can take your kids and put them in conversion therapy. Those families have no choice but to get out of the state.

But if everyone leaves then...then the problems won't be fixed and we'll be a step closer to President DeSantis spreading those policies nationwide. That man scares me more than Trump and Trump scares me plenty...

I honor your bravery and respect your circumstances. Good luck bringing light to your community.
