I literally had to buy a new drum for a printer that I had intended to replace because there was a shortage of printers earlier this year. I was able to get a drum, but I'd really wanted to upgrade to a network capable printer (and in the long run this is gonna cost me like $50-100, but ah well).

Nobody has been TALKING about the printer shortage, but I can vouch for its existence.

There's also been a minor shortage of equestrian riding helmets. Took me six weeks to get the specific model I wanted, which I wanted for safety and fit reasons not, ya know, aesthetics.
