I remember in the early stages getting very frustrated with a person, a nurse even, who thought it was a hoax. They lived in some tiny town in Texas and it hadn't made its way there.

The frustration came from the fact that they thought it was more feasible that every news outlet on the planet had agreed to run a fake story than that the virus existed! I mean, really...really...do you even hang out with human beings?
