I suspect a lot of them don't know what a pantomime even IS.

I would love to educate them, especially given the target audience of pantomimes.

I have fond memories of being one of the kids who drew the golden ticket to get to go up on stage. I don't remember how old I was, but I was pretty young and it was awesome. I learned what "limelight" meant and shared the stage with comedy duo Little & Large at the Nottingham Theatre Royal.

And I tracked it down. It was 1983, so I was JUST 10.

So, okay, I'm not straight, but it sure as heck wasn't because of the pantomime ;).
