I suspect we will all get it multiple times, but it's consistently becoming less dangerous as we build population resistance.

I haven't had symptomatic COVID yet, but I was exposed quite thoroughly in December when there wasn't a test to be had, and as more than half of people with Omicron don't know they had it and just under half had no symptoms, I will never know.

It's slowly turning into just another respiratory nuisance. Nursing homes are dangerous, though. In the before times I would roll my eyes at the people who did not use the provided hand sanitizer stations both on entering the home AND on leaving. Some would do it when entering, but not when leaving, because they don't grasp that visitors can get healthcare acquired infections (I speak from experience) too.

People in nursing homes are always going to need to be protected, did before, and will moving forward. Don't visit grandma with a cold, people.

I've mostly returned to normal and am hoping to re-add the gym, movies and indoor dining some time in the next few months. We'll see what happens now the BA5 related surge seems to be winding down.
