I think royalism is fairly inherent to human nature and we have to push back against it, or provide it to ourselves in a harmless form (figureheads, celebrities).

Buffy was supposed to be The One For Her Generation. All Slayers are exceptional. Sorry, I am still putting her on the list ;).
