I typically assume when I see a fat person that they probably have some reason why they are overweight...and that reason is not laziness. And is none of my business. Poverty, genetics, chronic illness, all kinds of things can make somebody overweight. And it's absolutely not my place to judge those things.

("Fat people shouldn't get free food" completely ignores the fact that poor people are often fat because they can't afford and/or don't have time to prepare any kind of decent food...that's just particularly disgusting).
