I write healthcare articles for a client and I am always careful to use gender neutral language when talking about body parts or natural processes such as menstruation and pregnancy. They have never called me on it and I'm hoping that it has let me do a little tiny thing to support trans/NB people.

It takes a tiny bit of extra work because we naturally fall into gendered language, especially those of us who are a little bit older. But only a tiny bit.
