Icke himself is indeed hard to read. He claims he was not anti-semitic and I am not sure he was, or was consciously.

However, a flurry of people after him did use the theory in anti-semitic ways. It pretty much split between the anti-semites and the SF writers who think it was cool, but there's some overlap. I did not invent the lizard person who is a moneylender named Benedict, which is not even a dog whistle at that point.

The reason I bring it up is it's easy to come at it from the Cool Lizard Shapeshifter angle, not realize how it's been used, and accidentally produce anti-semitic material, or material that ends up being perceived as anti-semitic.
