I'd add something else, too.
Right now the most important thing is to prevent hospitalization and deaths, and the second most important thing is to reduce cases.
The first vaccines work very, very well on point one, but we aren't sure how well they work on point two.
But these may not be the last vaccines. Get the first one you're offered, and in a year or so when that shot is starting to wear off, there may well be second generation vaccines that work better. The first vaccine you get is not the end of the road, you can "upgrade" later.
