So you think it's okay for there to be swathes of the country where trans kids have to pretend to be cis so that their parents don't get arrested? Where pregnant people can't get an abortion even if they're in danger, because restrictive policies have closed all the clinics?

We can support southern and western culture...I LOVE the western states...but conservative policies support rich white men and fool poor white people into thinking they are being supported. White supremacy, sexism, homophobia and transphobia are baked in to the modern Republican party.

Part of the issue here is that people in these states are afraid we are coming after their "culture" when all we want to do is make sure kids don't get bullied into suicide, women don't die from back street abortions, and Black people have their rights.

If those things are inherent to your "culture" then it's time to set those parts of it aside. Which doesn't mean all of it.

I went to a rodeo once where most of the cowboys were, in fact, Indians. Just saying.
