If I left this expensive place I would lose my health insurance indefinitely. I would lose 80% of my household income. A job elsewhere has to be found by my husband...who has not been able to do so...before we can move.

I have a chronic condition. I have to have uninterrupted health coverage.

It is a privilege to be able to freely move at any time.

I don't want to live here. I want to move.

I need to be able to afford my meds more than anything I may want.

Again.

You are speaking from a place of privilege and criticizing others for choices that may not be choices.

Living where you can find work is not optional.

But you're never going to get it.

Again, I can pay exorbitant amounts for housing. Or I can pay exorbitant amounts for healthcare with less income...and live in actual poverty.

I'm "choosing" insecurity over not even being able to survive and you need to realize not everyone is an able-bodied person with a remote job.
