I'm lucky to have a landlord (right now) that is very fair, turns a blind eye to minor lease violations if they don't affect anyone else, lets me hang pictures, etc.

But my last landlord was pricing people out...intentionally....drove us out. And then couldn't rent units, so karma came back to haunt them.
