It would help if we stopped treating glasses, in general, as a luxury.

My own issue is much more minor...can they please like make a note in my file so they adjust the pads tighter before giving me the glasses? I have a very thin nose and every single time I get glasses I have to tell them to tighten the pads. You'd think after a few years they would put it in my EHR or something!

I am also very glad rimless went back out of style, there were a lot of rimless and half rims a few years back and with my prescription I can't wear those.

Glasses catering to a specific beauty standard is absolutely racist but it's also ableist because if you need glasses you don't have the choice. (I can't wear contacts).
