It’s not as bad as El Salvador, where abortion is illegal under all circumstances and carries up to eight years in jail for the woman…except it gets worse.

Karina del Carmen Herrera Climaco was sentenced to 30 years after she gave birth at home. She got pregnant AFTER a tubal ligation and the child was stillborn. She was sentenced for aggravated homicide although eventually released after eight years…with no compensation.

Maria Edis Hernandez Mendez de Castro had a miscarriage and was sentenced to thirty years again for aggravated homicide.

“Manuela” was sentenced to 30 years for having an abortion. She hadn’t even known she was pregnant until she miscarried. She died in prison.

“Beatriz” who was going to die along with her child had to go to the Salvadoran Supreme Court, who said “Nope, you have to die.” The Inter-American Court stepped in and allowed her to have the procedure as long as attempts were made to save the “child.” Which hopefully didn’t feel any pain from their attempts to save it.

That is what these people want to bring to the U.S.
