My husband got offered 50% hybrid...which he can't take because we can't afford enough space for both of us to productively work at home. Hybrid is worthless in high cost of living areas.

The side of work from home people don't talk about is that it can, particularly in hybrid systems, increase real estate costs for employees...and the only wage changes I've heard about are CUTTING people's pay if they dare to move somewhere they can afford to live on their current pay, to make sure they stay just as poor.

There are costs to working from home that are not being considered here.
