My issue with the Line is whether they are making any allowance for wildlife migration routes. It seems as if without a lot of care it could cause huge issues for biodiversity and desert life.

A circular arcology would be better.

However, in the U.S. there is actually a move away from enclosed malls and into getting people outside more. So I'm not sure arcologies will happen any time soon here.
