My mother used a wheelchair for years. She could and did "hop right out of it" to, say, get something from a shelf.
Not everyone who uses a wheelchair is a "full time" wheelchair user who is unable to stand and/or walk very short distances.
I know people who use wheelchairs or mobis only in situations where they do need to walk a lot. One uses a mobi at science fiction conventions. I am absolutely sure there are people using wheelchairs at theme parks when they might not need them in everyday life because there is so much walking and standing for extended periods of time.
My mother suffered from some nasty prejudice and bullying from people like you who assume that if somebody can stand up they aren't disabled enough to need a wheelchair at all. Not how it works.
Disneyland did change how the program works because a few people were abusing it. They no longer let people in wheelchairs cut in line. However, because they expect people with mobility issues to wait in line, there are probably MORE temporarily wheelchair users at Disney now, because somebody might rent one knowing they can't stand for that long.
I'm not saying people don't occasionally abuse the system, but it's ableist to assume anyone who doesn't look disabled or disabled enough is abusing the system.
