My point is trans women are not *allowed* to win. As soon as one does, they're banned, even if they're consistently losing to cis women.

They are then referred to as "biological males" and "men" and accused of transitioning so they can win.

It's the same pattern over and over. Very few trans women are actually good enough to win or hold records. And if they ARE good enough it's because they're trans and their career has to be ended, they are harassed and in some cases doxed.

Trans women are only allowed to compete as long as they lose.

Lia Thomas is still being constantly harassed in the media and told to give up, go away, disappear or, ideally, admit she's a man and detransition.

If it was about fairness there wouldn't be laws being passed that ban trans men from the male division.

It's about forcible closeting and detransition and erasure. And real concerns about fairness are being erased.

There's a difference between "Are we sure it's fair for trans women to compete against women in certain sports?" and "Keep men out of women's sports."

The latter is the goal, because the goal is to force all trans women to live as men. A lot of people don't see the bigger picture and don't understand why activists are reacting the way they are, and think that we have some kind of crusade against women's sports.

Our crusade is against "Everyone has have a gender that matches the genitals they had at birth and if those genitals are ambiguous they must be cosmetically fixed and the person must live as that gender, no exceptions."

Sport is being seized on because it's not a no brainer like some other things.

And the excuse to be transphobic is "protect cis women."

I don't want to be protected from trans women. I want to be protected from transphobes because they are a much bigger threat to women than my friends who want to live their lives.
