My trainer rescued an Appaloosa mare and got the lesson barn to foster her until we found...

...she's still there six years later, although sadly an old injury caught up with her and she's no longer ridable.

I helped with her rehab...she was morbidly obese. The first time I put a saddle on her she tried to kill me and we've been friends ever since. (She's now kid safe but she did NOT appreciate her diet and exercise program at the beginning!)
