Not just public spaces.

I have photosensitive migraine. Fluorescent lights don't typically affect me, but if the ballast is just sliiiightly off, pow, debilitating headache.

I did a workshop a few years back at a university and there was one of those malfunctioning fluorescents in the dorm room they assigned me. I asked for a room change but all the rooms assigned to the workshop were full. I had to get dressed by flashlight and spend as little time in the room as possible. I HOPE that if I'd been an incoming student they would have reaccommodated me.

But hotel rooms, college dorm rooms and apartments need to be all-LED too.
