So-called MRAs that oppose dealing with coercive control forget the basic fact that it can happen to men too. This kind of abuse is committed by both men and women and happens to both men and women. It happens in same sex relationships.

It's true that most abusers are men with female partners, but if you actually care about protecting men, as opposed to shielding abusers, you would be entirely in favor of this being included in domestic violence statutes.
