So, here's the scenario I'm thinking of here.

A woman sleeps with two men. She has a birth control failure.

She finds out AFTER sleeping with these men that one of them was abusive to his ex wife and their children. Abusers can be deeply charming, in fact it's often a symptom of abuse. The ones I've met, you would NOT know from the outside.

By your rules, if he is the biological father, she should be forced to co-parent with somebody *with a history of domestic vioence* and that is somehow in the best interests of the child?

Or are women supposed to hire a private investigator to investigate the background of everyone we choose to sleep with, to make sure they are a suitable parent? Are men supposed to do that?

You are coming over, perhaps unintentionally, as very much wanting to control everyone's sexuality and assume that we should treat any and all consensual opposite sex encounters as if they are intended to result in pregnancy. And that IS slut shaming, whether you like it or not.
