So, I do have a large issue with automated shopping, and that's what often goes along with it:

Stores that sell necessities refusing to take cash.

There are still large swathes of people who are unbanked or underbanked and they need to be able to pay cash to get food or medicine. Reloadable cards still require a way to load them.

Stores that sell essentials should be legally REQUIRED to accept cash and not only have automated card only machines.
