So, I'm supposed to make peace with people who:

1. Are perfectly happy with people dying to not save a fetus they're carrying.

2. Want to annul the marriages of quite a few of my friends.

3. Believe in forcibly detransitioning trans kids, even if those kids commit suicide,

4. In many cases, legitimately believe in the natural inferiority of Black people and women.

5. Believe that if you can't work you don't need to be kept alive.

6. Believe parents should own their children. Unless they want to let their kids be gay or trans. If they want to beat their kids for being gay or trans, that's, ya know, fine.

7. End all protections for workers.

8. Pollute without any limitations and oppose ANY action to mitigate, adapt to, or limit climate change. This includes funding any initiatives for any form of transportation other than gas powered automobiles.

9. Deny refugees admission to the country, regardless.

10. Out gay and trans kids to parents who will at best not support them, at worst actively abuse them. Not consider this to be abuse.

11. In a not insignificant number of cases want me, personally, dead. No, I am not exaggerating.

AND their plan is to control and destroy democratic elections in this country.

I do not make peace with fascists.

Never again.

Ever.

These people are a minority struggling to cling to power, as shown by the fact that they couldn't get the votes for their fascist agenda despite a disastrously bad economy and an unpopular president.

Now, to be fair, some red voters also feel their way of life is threatened and I get that, but...

And yes, I will travel to red states, except Florida right now. Not going to Florida. DeSantis is a literal actual human trafficker.
