So, this is not your fault, but Medium has made it so that if you do not hyperlink your links then, at least in my browser, I can't copy and paste those links. Literally can't. So I can't check your sources.

Transplant recipients are not something we should be going by, anyway, as the drugs they are on affect immune response so significantly they're probably going to need a third shot.

There have been very few breakthrough infections with these vaccines. And if I had got this naturally?

I could be dead.

Or, I could be wondering if I will ever have the energy to write again.

And we are *all* dependent on people other than ourselves. Every single one of us, Unless you live off grid, on your own, grow every bit of your own food, have a well that you pump manually, and never seek medical care? You're dependent on people other than yourself. Even the Alaska mountain men can't manage that. We have social responsibility.

The most recent major problem variant showed up first in a place where very few people are vaccinated, so your idea just plain doesn't work. I can see why people might think that.

And, again. I got vaccinated and was a little bit sick for a day. If I got infected, I could be dead, I could have spent weeks in the ICU. I could have gotten this last March and still not be better.

Where's the sense in that?
