So, uh...

Some people can't go to bed earlier and get up earlier. It's an actual sleep disorder, which often constitutes a disability. There's a limit to how early somebody with delayed sleep phase disorder can get up and still continue to function. If we go to bed earlier, we sleep less because we aren't working with our bodies.

I understand that your point here is to leave yourself with enough time in the morning to get ready, but it's a little ableist to tout getting up earlier as the natural solution for *everyone*.
