Some pro lifers actually want IVF banned because of the spare embryos. If you truly believe life starts at fertilization (hint, the majority of fertilized eggs fail to implant), then it's a consistent view.

Others want the spare embryos to be made available for prenatal adoption after the intended parents have used the ones they want. I'm not averse to THAT idea with the consent of the intended parents and assuming the embryos weren't discarded due to gross genetic defects. Some clinics are doing it. I actually read a blog by a pro life couple who decided to put their money where there mouth was, as it were, and prenatally adopted two children this way.

I have far more respect for pro lifers who walk their talk, ya know. The vast majority don't because they're not actually pro lifers.

And yes, companies will have trouble recruiting people. Not just female employees, but we may well see a brain drain from some of these states, not to mention reduced tourism dollars.
